  • Figure Skating 1 Hour Guest Skate - HSC Member

    Skaters must be registered with Skate Canada with Hagersville Skating Club as their home club.  If the skater is receiving lessons with a Coach they must be registered for a minimum of a one day session during Winter Season. For off Season select When possible 24 hours notice of attending a session is appreciated so skater can be added to the daily roster for contract tracing. Session time is 1 hour.

  • Figure Skating 1 Hour Guest Skate - HSC Non-Member

    Skaters who are not members of Hagersville Skating Club are required to purchase a guest session no less than 24 hours in advance in order to be added to the roster for the day they will attend. Skaters must be registered with Skate Canada under another club for the 2024/2025 season in order to guest skate. An email to hagersvilleskatingclub@gmail.com to confirm the session they plan to attend is required.  Please ensure you are selecting the appropriate session based on skill level.  Fee must be paid prior to skating on each session.  Receipt of payment may be shown to a Board Member or coach.  Cash may also be paid to a Board Member before skating.  Session is 1 hour.

  • Spring Guest Skate - Members

    Spring Guest Skate for Members is for skaters who would like to Guest Skate and receive a lesson with a Coach.  Skaters must be registered with Skate Canada with Hagersville Skating Club as their Home Club.  Guest Skates sessions are 1 Hour.

    Skaters not registered for a 2,3, or 4 day Spring session are required to select this option to attend Test Days.

    Payment must be made online with a copy of the invoice provide to a Board Member on the day of skating.  Cash option is also available and to be be paid to a Board Member before skating.

  • Glisten & Glide 2025

    Glisten & Glide 2025

    An invitational event for Skating Clubs in the Haldimand/Norfolk/surrounding areas.  This event is open to PreStar to Star 4 skaters.  The purpose of this event to provide skaters the opportunity to skate in a fun and stress free competition style event.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund Recipient


Youth sports organizations were greatly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.  In the spring of 2020, all organized youth sports were halted in efforts to keep our youth safe.  In efforts to re-open safely, many new restrictions were put in place.  These restrictions reduced ice time and number of participants.

Canadian Tire has been a great support to youth sports organizations across Canada.  Through their Jumpstart program, they offer individual support for families that cannot afford the full costs of registrations and equipment.  For years, families in need could apply for individual and confidential support.  Our own club have had members supported by the Jumpstart program.

In the fall of 2020, Canadian Tire expanded the Jumpstart funding, and entire organizations could apply for grants through the Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund.

The Hagersville Skating Club was fortunate to receive a $10,000 grant from the Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund.  This grant was put toward keeping our fees at a pre-pandemic rate, despite our lower membership due to the pandemic and number restrictions.  We were also able to purchase items necessary for the change in program delivery.
